I hate calling anything "straightforward metal" because it belies sharp and varied musicianship, but this album is exactly that. It's heavy, accessible, and very much worth your time. gebs

Yeah, there might be people that dislike, The Neptune Power Federation, but hey, you need to remove toxic people from your life.

Indian band unleashes "epic" power metal, or trad heavy metal, in their sophomore full-length album, after a live one and an EP. It's not mind-blowing, but it is nevertheless a lot of fun to listen to. Sounding a bit like old-school underrated thrashy outfits, maybe like Jag Panzer and the like, they deliver groovy headbangers, but they tend to be a bit too "mechanical", following the protocol for a successful recipe they used before. Not utterly innovative, but a lot of FUN!! sachavonkarl74
